Karrie Fransman was commissioned to research, write and draw this powerful comic by the British Red Cross as part of Refugee Week in 2014. It tells the story of a teenager’s flight from Iran, his experiences with people traffickers, and his struggles and successes in making a life for himself in the UK. It won a Broken Frontier award and has been adapted for use as a teaching resource in the classroom.
